Brian bought this truck from us while out here for Bikes, Blues and BBQ. He decided to leave it with us and have a few upgrades done. It was already a good running 283 engine with a 3 speed but the paint was tired and the upholstery needed some work. As usual those few upgrades multiplied to the point that almost everything was restored to original new condition. Brian has since taken his truck back to Cali and has added a few modifications on his own, we don't mind because thats what makes a great truck... personalized by Brian.
Mike's '64 custom has all the factory options as well as some trick touches we've added. A complete frame-up restoration plus front power disc brakes with stainless lines, a fresh 1969 4-bolt 350 engine (made to look like the original 283 but with lots more power), a turbo 350 trans and 3:08 posi make up the drivetrain. Lowered ride height, huge front and rear sway bars, and michelin radials make this burb a pleasure to drive. Factory options include: luggage rack, tinted windows, dual sliding side windows, clamshell gate, power steering and air-conditioning. Some of the custom touches are: distressed leather, pickup side moldings, wooden floors and headliner, and a beautiful 1960 grill.
Rick's sweet longbed received a complete nut and bolt restoration. No expense was spared or detail overlooked from its sandblasted bare frame beginnings to its rich red paint finish. Loaded with factory options and a few tasteful upgrades this beauty will provide years of family cruising and pick up a few trophies at shows along the way.
Though not a complete restoration, only a paint job, We did a labor intensive, back to the metal, laser straight, deep-deep forest green single stage paint job.
Carolyn and Marion claim dual ownership to this beauty but we believe it's really Carolyn's Truck. Just to see the look in her eyes when they came over for progress reports was all the motivation we needed to knock this jewel out. Thanks guys, it is a pleasure to do work for great customers like you and who knows, Marion, maybe she'll let you drive it once in a while.
